Welcome

We are so excited to celebrate with you!

This website has all the details you’ll need: the wedding schedule, recommended attire, suggested places to stay, and a few tips on exploring the Pacific Northwest while you’re here.

We’re counting down the days until we’re all together, glasses raised, dancing shoes on, and surrounded by our favorite people!

The Details

Chateau Lill is located just outside Seattle in the heart of Woodinville's Wine Country, the perfect setting for our garden style wedding.

The Wedding Schedule

4:00 PM – Arrive, grab a drink and mingle on the lawn

5:00 PM sharp – Chuppah (ceremony) in the shaded cove

Following the ceremony – Dinner, dancing, and celebrating in the covered courtyard until 10:00 PM

Attire

We’re dreaming of a vibrant Garden Party with guests in an array of bright, colorful, non-black cocktail attire.

We recommend wearing light, breathable fabrics just in case the sun shows up to the party.

Much of the day will be on grass and gravel, so chunky heels, wedges, or flats will keep you dancing comfortably.

Accommodations

Our wedding will take place in scenic Woodinville, WA, about a 35 minute drive from the Seattle airport.

The following hotels are clustered together in downtown Redmond, a 10 minute drive from the wedding venue:

Archer Hotel Redmond

Seattle Marriott Redmond

Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle East/Redmond

If you plan to stay in Seattle proper or downtown Seattle, travel to the venue will take between half an hour and an hour, depending on traffic.

The Mountain is (hopefully) Out

If you’re planning an extended visit to explore the surroundings, bring your hiking boots. From misty waterfalls to mountain peaks, here are some of the nearby trails, lakes, and views:

Snoqualmie Falls & Twin Falls (easy day trip)

Drive: ~40 minutes from Woodinville

Perfect for a relaxed morning after the wedding.

Snoqualmie Falls is a dramatic 268-foot waterfall just outside of a small town, with easy viewpoints that make it one of Washington’s most iconic natural sights. It’s a quick, scenic stop that feels impressively grand without needing a long hike.

Want a bit more trail time? Twin Falls nearby offers a short hike (2.5 miles round-trip) through lush forest with multiple waterfalls.

Mailbox Peak (for the ambitious hiker)

Drive: ~50 minutes from Woodinville

Mailbox Peak is a steep, challenging climb with big summit payoff — wide-open mountain views and the famous mailbox at the top. It’s a true leg-burner, best for experienced hikers looking for a hard but iconic trail. Bring plenty of water and snacks!

Mount Rainier National Park (Bucket-List Adventure)

Drive: ~2.5–3 hours from Woodinville

If you're up for a long day trip, Mount Rainier is worth the drive.

Choose the Paradise or Sunrise area depending on your desired experience — both offer stunning wildflower meadows, glacier views, and short trails with big payoffs. Wear layers! And make a reservation, if you need one: Timed Entry Reservations.

Rattlesnake Ledge (Classic Easy Viewpoint Hike)

Drive: ~45 minutes from Woodinville

Rattlesnake Ledge is a popular, moderate hike that climbs to a dramatic cliffside viewpoint overlooking a turquoise lake and surrounding mountains. It’s quick, rewarding, and one of the easiest big-view trails near Seattle.

Leavenworth & The Enchantments (Mountain Escape)

Drive: ~2.5 hours from Woodinville

Leavenworth is a beautiful Bavarian mountain town surrounded by alpine trails.

Even a short hike like Icicle Gorge or Colchuck Lake offers incredible scenery.

And if you're super ambitious, consider a longer trek past Colchuck into The Enchantments, the most idyllic trail in the Pacific Northwest. Just be sure to plan ahead, as you'll want to book a shuttle for this 20 mile through hike!
